right, i got this free with my soundcard (digidesign mbox factory) but i have no clue on how to use it

i'd like to record my vinyl to my harddrive - is that possible with pro tools le?

id also like to record entire dj mixes onto my HD and be able to add a further layers over the top of that (for pre recording radio shows) - is that possible?

and lastly, how do i do all of the above? are there any good FREE online tutorials?

something to get you started. just start reading you manual too.
everything you said you wanted to do is possible with all recording programs. like i said, read your manual and that link for information on how to hook up your turntables and other instruments to the mbox...and how to record it.
 
I have been working on putting my vinyl on cd using pro tools. If you have an RCA out on your amp that will work. I have been using an old vintage player and a mic. With a little eq it keeps that perfect vinyl sound.
