Pro Tools Free

Okay her goes, I've downloaded pro tools free onto my imac
266 G3 w/ 160 mg ram. It looks pretty cool but I cannot figure out how to import an audio cd into the Pro tools program. It's just a 2 track stereo CDR recorded on my Tascam 788. It plays on my imac
but I can't figure out how to get it into the pro tools program?

How do I do it??

This is a little quirk with older pro tools versions. Its very annoying but this should work.

go to the MOVIE menu.

Click IMPORT AUDIO FROM MOVIE or something like that.

Locate the track.

then select if you want the whole track or just part of it.

then select the location where you want PT to store the Imported audio files.

I think thats it, it takes way to long but its free in PT 6.0 and higher its much eaisier
