Hey guys,

I'm about to pull out my hair because of this. Countless hours of work have gone to waste because of it.

Everytime I have Pro Tools 8 LE up and running, with addons and plugins, it goes fine for a while. When I start playing on my keyboard to play som notes, or record some, lets say .nks-filed Percussion samples, it freezes everything! Can't move the cursor, the sound is really messed up repeating itself and sometimes gone, so I have to emergency turn it off.

Anyways, I run on 4mb of RAM, around 3Ghz i3 Intel processor, I dont really know what to type here.

I've tried updating Pro Tools 8 LE with 8.05.
I've disabled desktop composition.
I run as admin, etc. etc.

What do I do? :S

Please help me! - Feroyn

google to find out how you delete preferences on windows 7.

I know how this is done on mac, but i can't guide you for windows.

Deleting preferences is the "have you tried turning it off and on again" response,,but there's a good reason for that! :P

gd luck.

Yeah man, I have. Even tried reinstalling Pro Tools, but I am 90% sure that it has to do with my hardware.

forgive my ignorance, but what does this mean ".nks-filed Percussion samples"

if you believe it to be a hardware issue, try a different usb cable, try someone elses mbox (if possible), install protools and try your mbox on a different computer/laptop...

whatever switching up you can do to eliminate elements of the chain.
