How much should I expect to pay for a pro-refinish on an acoustic?

Depends on what needs to be done and how good you want it.

If it's just a 'lacquer overspray' then $40 - $80 should cover it. If you're stripping off the old finish and doing something special (eg a 3-colour sunburst, or a metal-flake custom job etc) then you can expect triple that (or more).

If it's a really high-end job you're looking for, call Scott Lentz in San Marcos CA. He's expensive, but it will be perfect.

No fancy colors. Just strip off the old finish and apply a clear coat finish over the natural wood.

Thanks for the supplies info. But I'm not exactly the guy I'd like to see attempting to refinish my guitar.

I refinished my own natural wood finish Gibson Grabber bass. Sanded it down and and brushed on a poly coat. It turned out great.
