Very nice Carlos. Even though I couldn't understand a word of the vocals. I like the layers, textures and moods.

That snare sound during the lead break, did you have any compression or a limiter on that?

Yeah i've heard your guitar playing before and it's very soulful. Why don't you dump the keyboard strings which sound too obviously synth and lay that melody down with your guits.

One thing at the 2:10 mark, i think the vocal melody was something that I'd heard in "Tanto De Quecir" is that a similar hook?

The guitar line at 2:30 on sounds slightly out of tune to me, especially on the slow vibrato. I really like the tone of the instrument, sounds like a smokin signal but there are parts where it sounds like it could be tighter.

Really pleasant sounding when the patch viols drop and the vox come in, that part is my favorite.

smooth

sounds nice man

I Think...

The vocals need to be a little more up front, but not too much or it'll kill the serenity of it. I also agree with whoever said the acoustic needs a little more center...what i would actually do (IHMO) is keep the guitar really wide, but center the piano more and bring it out so there's a full soundstage without the guitar and piano on top of each other so much, make a little room in the mix, but then bring the piano back wide again after

Again with the synth part, I can't wait to hear it with the real violin

sweet solo in the second part, needs a little more delay to place it back in the mix

I'm lookin at picking up a pair of those ECM8000's to use for overheads and occasionally acoustic guitar, should I? I know it sounded great on your recording but:

1 how much did you tweak it?
2 Will they sound too distant for rock/pop stuff?

Thanks for any help
