I need to get a bunch of blank CD-r's labeled (don't want just a do it yourself sticker)but I don't need the CD's burned - we'll do that as the Powerpoint Presentation is always changing.

Where can you get this done? I've already designed the artwork - we just need hard labels put on about 500 or 1000 CD's.

Thanks!

if you're using "printable" cd-r's, i'd imagine that some places in your area (especially any that do cd replication or large amounts of recording/small batch production, maybe even some screenprinters) or within a reasonable vicinity will own a cd printer-basically an inkjet that prints on said cd's. i think cost is in the $1500 range to buy one outright. chances are, if you find a place that has one and build a little rapport, they'll treat you right. since these are powerpoint presentations, i suspect these adepict something current and of a commercial nature, i.e. they may not be hung on to but for so long, and you don't need the best printing ever, just something that looks good and stands up to reasonable short-term use. also, i'd tend to suggest that if you have seen a similar work to yours (home-burned cd's with decent printing on them) that you simply find the person with said company/organization who handled it and ask them for input.

As long as it's not for music...

You may (or may not) be aware that if you put a sticky label on a music CDR it can (may) cause problems in certain players (like car stereos) because the heat can cause the label to warp or peel and then it doesn't spin evenly and you risk read errors.

Just something to consider, though if it's only a presentation you're talking of should be OK as its unlikely to be used in a car stereo!
