Sometimes, digging through the closet sometimes produces a dynamic mic that a friend left a long time ago.

Of course, I have no idea what Pro.2 is. I've done numerous google (and forum) searches and found only ebay sales and the like for newer Pro.2 models. No Pro.2 company though.

Is this a brand for a bigger company?

yep, its yer basic dynamic cardiod.

i can tell that without even reading the manual!

uh oh, is that an XLR-1/4" cable??!?

cant have none of that crap..

Yup! Figured as much. I even found some descriptions which label it as a karaoke mic. I think this means it has a nice response curve in the drunk and belligerent range.

Yeah, replaced the XLR-1/4 with a balanced XLR/XLR. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to use this thing though. I hate wasting :g:
