got a sl 1642 and studio one pro 2 running through an imac core 15. every time I turn on everything and load studio one my gr meter on the sl is pegged out .. anyone have an answer for this problem?
 
GR on the SL (just like the level meter to its left) is for what ever is selected on the board, channel, subgroup etc. Have you tried selecting other channels on the SL? Or nulling the board (reseting all the Fat Channel settings).

Also try the Presonus forums at their site. Ive been helped several times by the people there.
 
Is it green and pegged red. If it's green look at what channels are hitting go through and select them (bring them up to the fat channel) and turn down/off compression and gate on each of the channels.
 
thanks.. that worked.....resetting the fat channel to flat
