Presonus Tubepre

I'm looking for a bit of info regarding the Presonus Tubepre. I own one, and the other night at a rehearsal i zapped with a pretty powerful jolt of static electricity from my finger tip. Well it stopped working, so i changed the tube in it today with no results. so my question is what could have happened, and how much could it cost to repair.


Any ideas, any body
 
Just so you know, when I had trouble with my MP20 and had to send it back to Presonus for repair, they were GREAT. Really good customer service. So, I assume you're covered under the warranty, and if you have to send it back they should be able to fix you up pretty quickly.
 
Sounds like a freak surge thru the power circuit zapping the transformer.
Heed soundjunky's worth advice!
 
No more rehearsal spaces with freakin wall to wall carpeting!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Actually any AC power to a DC circut will fry an IC. Thats most likely what happened.
