yeah. Q10 is real similar, and it's awesome too, and not as good probably, which says a lot! ha.

Q10...that's made by that company that went out of business, right? Aside from that, I think the specs are simlilar although the Firepod may have better pre's.

yep, that's the Q10. ha. But they are similar cards/"boards" ...maybe interface is the right word here. ha.
and actually I've heard some people say the Q10 pre's were better in their opinion. I wouldn't know, never really "A/B"ed them

It's a great setup and I hardly run into any hiccups. I do the main tracking in Vegas and then switch over to Acid for easier editing (there are just some acid features I can't do without). I do all my mixing in Acid and then move it over to Sound Forge for final touches. It's really an unstopable combination of software.
