Ok once i get those. I install my mics, and i connect them to the preamp.
Now they just run to my preamp meaning, how will i connect all the mics in the preamp to my delta sound card? do i need more cables?

What kind of delta card should i use in this case?

Info- I got a 5 pice drum set with 4 cymbols including high hat.

Using TRS cables, plug them into are outputs on the back of the Nady unit. Then connect the other sides of the cables into the Delta Soundcard. WHat the other end of the cabels look like Depends on what kind of Delta soundcard you have. For instance, into a Delta 1010 you would use TRS-TRS Cables. If you're using the 1010LT you'd need TRS to RCA cables.

What's your current soundcard?

If you don't have one, I really recommend the Delta 1010 (with the box). I use it, and I love it.

Why did you post about your kit? How many drums you have doesn't really affect the soundcard. What mics do you have and how are you planning you mic kit? That kind of info is more important here...

Yo Jokokura! Unless it's a typo (could be), those should be TS cables (Tip-Sleeve), not TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve). The Nady may have servo balanced XLR inputs, but the quarter inch outs are unbalanced TS jacks. As far as what kind of soundcard you would plug it into, anything with (8) 1/4" inputs.-Richie
