Are you using a PC to record on? If so, scrap the mixer (esspecially Behringer) get the DMP3 and rock out with your....well you know....

Keep it "in the box" meaning, mix, and covert to wav or mp3 and move to CD from within the PC.

If you aren't using a PC then this is a whole different can of beans. Please advise and we'll go from there.

That's one way to go, depending on what you are planning to do. I just don't see a point in a mixer if you aren't planning on using any outboard effects or anything and mixing down to DAT or External CDR.

I could however, see a point in a decent board like a Mackie or Yamaha if you needed more than 2-4 decent preamps.

well im guessing i only need one preamp if im going to be just recording vocals and guitar separately lol :)

and spose dont need the mixer effects as guitar tracks pro has got all of the effects on :p
