Pre programed drums on br1600cd

When I started using an early model br-8, the tempo map was easy to manipulate. If I wanted a 7/8 beat i got a true 7/8, If I wanted a 3/4 beat...... I got it. I have upgraded to the BR1600CD, and was thrilled to see the many pregraphed intro, vs,fill,outro drum templated included in the BR1600CD OS. However, if I wanted a 7/8 beat, the meter would count in 7/8, but the beat counted in 4/4. I know how to set the tempo map up. Is there something else I am missing? ----------- dizzidevereux

There is also a Beat Map menu on the 1600. You get there the same way you do to get to the Tempo Map. The beat map function is the tab to the RIGHT of the Tempo Map function. I believe this is where you can adjust the beats on the 1600.
