Free for that taking ... just right click and "Save Target As" in IE ... or the equivalent in the other browsers ... or left click and stream. If you load the file to your computer, you'll be able to fast forward and rewind through the file.

I'm offering it here in pre-mastered version because I'm going to get it mastered, and folks here might want to listen to the pre-mastered version versus the final mastered version in order to compare what was done during the mastering process.

The mastered version will be free too, so don't worry ... I'm not leaving anyone out in the cold.

:D

Here ya go, all 42mb at a run time of a little over 50 minutes:

Unfit for Consumption

Nine somewhat odd songs of commentary on life, love and the American Way:

1) Without Radio
2) Consumption
3) Final Daze
4) Deeper as it goes
5) Falling
6) It's not the Same
7) Black Magic
8) The American Dream Trilogy
9) Mona

I'll post up the mastered version once I decide who I'm going to have do it and get it back.

You can comment away to your heart's desire, but I'm not changing anything as of this point. Too late, you all had your chances.

:D

Best,

Cool. Thank you.

So why one solid track instead of separate songs?

Hey S,

I grew up when albums weren't just a collection of a bunch of songs, and care was taken to pay attention to how the songs segued from one to the next. That subtlety gets lost these days.

By employing a continual stream, control of the flow from song to song is regained and the effect pulls the collection of individual songs more together as a "real album".

I liken it to what happens when the back side of Abbey Road is chopped up into spaces between tracks ... it breaks the intended continuity.

i like it...it grew on me as it went along

good job :)

Thanks!

I started it with a more light pop piece, but it gets progressively more ... um ... progressive as the album settles in.

:D

Iam doing my final edits for my new album and I'm going to master this time. Can you give me a rough ball park on what that cost you? The diference is huge. And I was thinking of using the same place you did.

thanks

Hey Ray!

Here you go:

Massive Mastering

Rates usually vary on a per project basis, dependent on what's being asked to be done ... how long the project is ... etc ... but John's information is very straightforward and he posts his rates right on the site. He's a straight shooter too, so ask questions.

Yes, there is a budget plan ... and remember I knew I was going to be giving mine away for free.
