I need a Power Supply (one of those 8-input supplies) and a decent patchbay. I've never owned either before, so don't really know what brands/models, etc are good. Any suggestions?

I'm assuming "bang-for-the-buck" -

Power supply - Furman. Just about anything. Around $100 or so with a voltage guage.

Patch bay - For 1/4" to 1/4" - Neutrik. Around $100 or so.

Are you talking about a power conditioner like those sold by Furman?

I don't have any patch bay recommendations. I own a Nuetrix and it works okay but I've heard others say they aren't that sturdy in the long run.

All the usual places carry them. Guitar center, Sweetwater, Zzounds, etc.

Patchbays, I suggest the Samson 1/4 inch balanced S-Patch-Plus.... it's one of the few models which lets you switch modes (Normal/Half-normal/Thru) mode on all inputs with a front of unit selectable switch (most models dont have that)..... Don't get the patch bays that have a preset amount of each mode.... which means most of your patch bay goes to waste if you don't need that mode. the Samson is only $20 or so more than the other cheaper brands... worth the price. Many patch-bay models require you to do rediculous time consuming modifications to change modes.
