Hello all,
I've had something strange happen a couple of times with my tsr8, and so far its not caused any major issues, but I think Im on borrowed time. Sometimes when I rewind and then playback, the machine makes a screeching noise and wont play...it sounds like someone literaly hit the breaks on the thing. Sometimes I can hit rewind/FF a few times and it will eventually play, other times it wont perform any function and I have to take tension off of the arms, turn the deck off, and then try again.
Like I said, so far I have been able to get it back up and running, its only a matter of time untill I have a serious problem during the middle of a serious session..HA. Does this sound familiar to anyone, and is there any thing I can do pro-actively?
