I have a very noticeable empty spot on my table where my mixer should be. It is botherig me to the point i am looking for a dummy one until i get my real mixer. I dont need one that works(but working light would be a plus). The size of the mixer i want is 36long x17wide. the closest i could find in size is the Behringer Eurodesk SL3242FX-PRO Mixer at about 35 1/4 x 16 1/8. since i am never going to use it i need one DIRT CHEAP. If you have an old broken one similar to this in size of the Behringer Eurodesk SL3242FX-PRO Mixer that you want to get rid of send me a private message. I will pay shipping plus
-enter your low rate here-

P.S. I have already tried a cardboard box with nobs drawn on it and it did not work for me. lol

Please tell me if i can plug it in the wall or it will catch on fire. Please also include pics if you got them (if not i will just google the model number).

Have you considered the reality that your real problem is not the empty space on the table, but rather that it's the fact that the empty space bothers you?

G.

or it's the empty space in your head? :D

a lava lamp is what you seek my friend. you won't ever be complete without one. make good use of the space now before you do something crazy. or how about a control surface? it would be a functional piece of eye candy.

you did'nt seriously draw knobs on a cardboard box............... :D

are you joking? you have to be joking

who are you trying to impress?? if your trying to impress someone who knows anything about professional audio they will know its a crap/broken mixer.

and if your trying to impress somone who doesnt... then why the hell are you doing that?

I'd contact Funk Logic to see what they have lying around.
Some band "Hey what does this do?"
"Nothing, but its 90% water proof"
"Oh great, so why does it need to be water proof if you cant plug it in"
"I dont know, its there to look cool"

The band left straight away. The studio has now shut down.

Your going about this all wrong. You don't draw on the cardboard box, you paste a blown up photo of a mixer onto the cardboard box. That's how the pros do it.

Just curious, what is the real mixer that you will be buying in the future?

Also, I understand poser equipment for clients, but do you really need poser equipment for yourself?

Thanks you just saved me a bunch on s+h. My printer is not that great so i will go to kinko's. I hear they have hi-rez printing for that pro look. I was going to ask what the best nady mic under 50 bucks was too, but we all know the answer to that. The cm 90 condenser of course. I cant talk 2 long i am busy taking 2,000 eggs out of their pack so i can use it for room liner.

this is 2 much fun. lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

If you're a car guy, like me, then check out this site: http://kalecoauto.com/
They've got great deals on 'muffler bearings' and 'blinker fluid'.

I called for the tampon dispenser (for automatic vehicles) but its on back order.

(This is dedicated to the lady racer on the go! Featuring quick dispensing action, the Tampon Dispenser for Automatic Vehicles is the ideal match for any vehicle with an automatic transmission. The built in canister operates much like the clip of a gun, and has a capacity of 12. Extended clips may be purchased, depending on vehicle. Absolutely not for use with manual transmissions!
Deep Discount for Hyundai Tiburon owners!)

Actually this reminds me...

A studio facility I used to work at, there was one studio that had an ancient analogue mixer on which some of the channels had blown. It was past it basically. The engineer really really wanted a Yamaha DM2000, so I printed out the logo for the DM2000 and blu tacked it over the logo on his mixer...

Um, if the tampon dispensor was design for quick dispensing, wouldn't it be mounted just under the steering wheel?
