Portastudio cassette drops out highs

My Tascam 244 cassette Portastudio is droping the highs for a secong or two then returning them. It happens while I'm mixing to a CD. I don'think its in the tape because it occors randomly. Is this an esily fixable or a major problem. I'm two mixes away from being done with my CD. What would you recomend? Thanks.
 
I clean them bit have not demagnatized for awhile. I will, thanks.
