They're a little short. You might want to bring up the volume, too.

Ah, the transient, impermenant nature of beauty. there for but a fleeting moment & then gone, naught but a memory.
hang on, I don't even remember it. Was it there at all?
Ah, the power of suggestion again. We are told it is there, so we believe it is there, so we know it is there and there it is - somewhere.

That is oh so profound. :D

Oh wow. This thread worked! I assumed it didn't and didn't stop back. Whooooooops.

I tried to post this thread probably 10 times and it didn't work. Sorry! Here it is:

Some of you may remember these songs from before. I recorded a split for two local bands and almost lost them due to my hard drive acting up. Here's the final product.

The Wonder Years:
Geraldine - Straight-forward fast pop punk. (previously posted) [Warning: foul language]
Leperachan - A simple verse-chorus pop punk song.

Bangarang:
By Heart - Fast pop punk. (previously posted)
[Title unknown] - More fast pop punk.

Please, give your opinions.

Keep in mind that everything was recorded through a Behringer board, <$200 mics, a Terratec Phase 88, and has mainly freeware plugs.

These are the mixes that were sent out for pressing.. I guess I have another day to correct any issues if needed. They send it out tomorrow.

EDIT: That's weird. It did the exact same thing it did with the other threads.. but this one worked. It wasn't there when I refreshed before I left.

You guys made all those jokes.. but when I actually posted them, you didn't even listen. -=[

Ahhh, that's the truth of it then. It was amusing that you posted nothing - in fact I thought you were very clever in doing so. Hence the attempts at humour & the realisation/confirmation of the power of American Idol(itry).
I will listen though it'll have to wait until manyanah.

I'm getting an error that the files are not found on the server. Geez, dude. Time to up your meds.

Well, on my shitty laptop speakers, they sound pretty good. Not my favorite style, but the mixes seem fine.

mixes sound pretty good...

I will say this though...the skill level, & overall tones of the 2nd band are much better than the first, and seem to help the 2nd band gel mix-wise much better.

p.s. the last song about steve irwin cracked me the @#$ up
