Poll: Who is responsible for all the crap on the radio? (NOTE - multiple answers ok)

I work for a public radio station and I'm proud of what we do. I can't listen to commercial radio, it makes me sick.
Support your local public radio station! The main problem with radio as it is with all media is consolidation. The airwaves are increasingly being controlled by fewer and fewer corporations.

They are still going to play what makes them the most money no matter who owns them. Just like public radio caters to it's contributers.
Public radio is far more diverse musicaly though. I'll hand you that
Our station rarely ever plays music though.

Only station I can stand listening to is the Classic Rock station or sometimes the "Easy listening" station. Even those get tiresome with the same old songs.

I find myself listening to my own music even though it's not that great, it's something different. And also some "underground" independent local artists who give me their CDs. I've actually heard a lot of extremely good songs by local people who are unheard of.
