lazi good post. i myself DO like to know where people record. so i can either record at the spot or so i can stay away. as long as a person gives it 100% why does it matter? you CAN tell when someone is giving 100%. why not give 100% on the performence and making sure the arrangement is tight? why not give 100% on the sound????

IF ANYONE PLANS ON RELEASING A CD TO THE PUBLIC THEY SHOULD HAVE A DUTY. THAT DUTY IS TO GIVE THEM QUALITY PRODUCT. IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD YOU AS THE ARTIST SHOULD ASK QUESTIONS. WOULD I BUY THIS? IS THEIR A MARKET FOR THIS? DOES IT SOUND CLEAN? YOU ARE PUTTING *YOUR* NAME BEHIND IT AND IT SHOULD BE AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE.

I don’t like low audio quality but I understand that everybody can't afford to use the best equipment or doesn’t necessarily have access to the knowledge (or even moms pockets) that will help them to improve

If nothing else, almost everyone has access to a public library computer. There's books, magazines, bbs like this one. There's knowledge free for the taking every where you look.

BTW that post wasn't offensive in the least. You wanna be offensive around here, you got alot o work to do!

Sub - The library. Ha...I really need to go there sometimes myself. It's kinda funny cuz I never really even thought about that. If i had somebody tell me that 7 years ago i would probably be a much wiser person in the "the game". Thanks for mentioning that.

here in my city we have the largest source of music related material in northern cali library. MIKE LAWSON (owner of artistpro.com) and his associates donated the books and held seminars. a lot of big wigs showed up.
