POLL - do you record bass or guitar first? why?

What 64Firebird said but then exactly the other way around... I'm a bassplayer. It's also a part of the writing process.

But when it comes to having guitar parts recorded by a real and decent guitar player (which I'm not), I'll just go first. It's not that big of a deal to me. In general I think guitarplayers have more trouble keeping their beat steady so it's better to give them something to hold on to. ;)
