political death metal polka ballad

I'm not German...I am Norwegian...well, not really,but hey I have a little swede in me! :D

It sounds like fun. I could give it a try, if so wanted.

I already offered some death harmonica or steel drums..but didn't get a reaction ya know!! Unless I missed it.

I don't remember seeing any mention of death harmonica or steel drums. How did I miss that? Think you could sing some polka ballad stuff? :eek: :D

I have never tried polka...but wanted to, before I die....does this has any great significance ?

Perhaps I could have my grandkids blow bubbles while I sing, for inspiration!! :D

i will go in before all is said and done and re-do some of the fills so it's not so repetitive. i just threw in a ballad-type beat after the clean guitar part, don't know how well it sits. then it abruptly explodes into the double-kick section to end the song. :D what do you guys think so far?

Zed, the drums are kickass. Did you have a progression in mind for the added ballad section or is it open for suggestions. Maybe you and true-eurt can fit something there? I have tonight free so if I can help with the ballad if needed.

True, just wait until we fill this sucker out with the bass, accordion, vocals, etc. It's gonna frighten small and large children. :p

not really anything in mind yet, i'll take a listen to your guitar part again and see if i can spin something from it to make a ballad section. :D
 
sorry for not coming through on the accordion for y'all. got the lecture this week from my wife about 'family time' versus 'recording/band time' sounds like you guys are doing fine on it w/o me.

guess I'll have to start my own damn P.D.M.P band on my own... :(

you haven't missed anything really. we're still working on the bones. no tracking done so far except zed's drums. we still need some accordion at some point. sorry this is taking so long.

Hey...I had a listen too. I don't think they sound all that polka though....perhaps the 'Finnish hoedown' fits the them better...although I have no idea what that is.

I really liked Hel Vete...rockin' song. Aldhissla was good too.

Korpenes Saga did bring Trolls singing and dancing to mind. !! :D

I see they have a lot of gigs in the East/West coast/North/few in Texas and Canada...but none in the Midwest for this year.
