Hi folks
Well Ive been doing the home based recording thing for a while now and starting to get sorted. So far, I've been using the V Amp2 to get my guitar sounds into the desk, but the more I do, the less happy I am with the sounds coming out of it (its not my playing though....I promise). I've seen that the new POD XT pro is out and seems to have some pretty cool features. Anyone used one yet and can provide some comments???

Cheers

You've got to find a store that has the Pro or at least a regular XT and try it out yourself. If your not happy with the V-amp which seems to get mostly favorable reviews around here you may not be happy with the Pod.
Guitar tone is very subjective, almost like asking what your favorite kind of food is.
I've got Roland amp simulations,Sansamp and software. My favorite is my one of my Fender amps miked, but we all know that is'nt always practical.
That's a lot of scratch to be putting out on the XT pro, will it be worth that much more than the V-amp?
