POD to an amp?

I'm using a POD 2.0 with a Mesa Boogie 20/20 power amp. It sounds tons better (and louder) as opposed to my my previous amp, a 100w Marhsall amp head.

When you're looking at tube-driven amps, don't let wattage fool you. 20 tube watts = ~100 solid state watts. My Marshall head was rated at 100w, and it was a solid state head. My Boogie is only driven by 2 EL-84 tubes (per channel) and it can get louder than my Marshall without clipping.

You can find 20/20's for ~$350-$450 via ebay. They don't come around that often, so keep on a lookout for it.

After reading this thread I got my old West Avalon tube amp thats about 40 years old out of the closet. I replaced the tubes and plugged my J-Station into it. Holy shit, it sounded awesome. I was gonna buy a new amp, but I don't think I want to now.
