We are recording into a roland 2480 cd
and iam currently using a regular pod,
would the noise level be consideribly reduced using a pod pro and connecting
digital rather than my current anolog ?
i notice with some of the clean sounds
that the hiss is louder than i would like
maybe this solve that? ....thanx Ray

I doubt it seriously. I don't believe you'd see a big difference in floor noise.

It's amazing how they made those POD's just as noisy as an amp. Must be part of the whole 'virtual' experience.

Make sure you use good cables as short as possible and preferably under 10ft.

Also don't forget to turn your guitar away from the Pod, just like you would with an amp.

This too will reduce noise.

I have to agree, the Pod is a bit noisy in the clean setting.

Maybe the price you pay for amp tone. Seems like a fair trade to me!!
