Folks.
I recently bought a lot of equipment and need to sell some.
I would like to sell my POD pro and M-Audio OMNISTUDIO package. Both for $500.00 shipped.

Both are in immaculate condition. Less than or equal to 2 years.
Pod Pro has manual, CD, power cable and Box all in new condition.
The OMNISTUDIO is also in excellent condition with manual, CD and box with power adopter. For those of you not familiar with the OMNISTUDIO, it's a top of the line product in it's price range. I was able to make quality recording on this. It handles the Pod Pro very very well with it's built in Pre-Amps.

I am selling the POD Pro because I got a HD147. I am selling the OMNI because I just today bought a Yamaha AW4416.

Thanks folks!

POD has been sold to a person in China.

The OMNI is still available: $200.00 shipped :)

Is it USB? If it is, do all 4 inputs get mixed down to 1 (or 1 L and 1 R) channel, or does it come in as 4 channels?

This is not the USB version. That is the newer version.
Mine is exactly 2 years old. Has 8 INs and 6 OUTs.

As for mixdown, it depends on the software you use. When I was ready for final mix, I took the OMNI and my computer to a professional studio(since I already recorded in 24bit/96KHz format). There I routed the tracks through the 6 OUTS in 24/96 to get the best optimum sound possible.

When I burn at home I use the 16/44.1 format. Comparing, I could not make a difference. Honestly I like it better burning on the OMNI itself at 16/44.1.

I hope I have not given you more information than you needed. If so, simply disregard ;)

Thanks.

The version I have is PCI.

basically hte OMNI is made of 2 components. One is a PCI card that goes into the computer.
The other is a table top box which is the mixer.

Its the same one you and Christopher show. Your picture does notshow the PCI sound card. So Christophers link is more descriptive.
What do you mean by "pres"?

Basically this setup has a PCI card and the control box like shown in the pic. that's it.

I bought it for $399.00 plus tax 2 years ago.

"pres" = preamps.....yes it has 2 very decent preamps.......

$200 is an awesome price for that unit....i cant believe its still up for sale......

Yah me too!
That too, that is the price including shipping.

I might put it on EBAY if there are no takers.

Thanks.

Give me another day or so, and I may take it... I trying to figure out how much money I'm getting on my next paycheck ;)

8 Ins? I thought it had 4, 2 combo jacks and 2 line in 1/4"....what am I missing?

I think it has like 8 INs if you include th evirtual INs as well.
Thanks.

Yamaha AW4416

While we're at it, Did you get the Y56K card for the AW4416? I'm thinking about buying it but I'd like to know more about it first. I love my AW4416 and I plan to keep it around for a very long time. I just want to fully upgrade it before the parts are made obselete. First, I want to know more about these expansions.

No, I have not got it yet. It's available on EBAY for $600.00.
I don't plan to get it soon. Perhaps later in the year. I hear the Waves Card is very good. Other than that, I know nothing about it.

Before I get the Waves card, I am planning to get the MOTIF OUTPUTs expansion card.

I will probably be asking you questions on the 4416 since I am still learning the beast.
Thanks in advance.

Wish there were

I'll try to find some. If not, lets start one. I want to know as much as I can about this machine from the people who actually use it.
