Hey,

I was reading the reviews at Harmony Central, on the pod floorboard. A lot of them wern't so good.

Wah sounds digital, should have seperate switches for banks, and effects, switches not to reliable, and sometimes even fall apart, and no volume pedal bypass.

Thought I wanted one, now not so sure.

Anybody hear have one? What do you think?

Coments: good or bad appreciated!!

Mine works great in the studio environment - would never use it live (or the POD either!)........

Bruce,

Thanks for the reply, I too would only use it studio, with a Pod.

A couple of questions:

How good is the wah?

Does the floorboard allow you to use more effects at the same time, than just the Pod alone?

Is the volume pedal bypassable, if not is this a problem?

What else does it do, that you can't do with just the Pod alone?

Thanks,

The only reason I bought the floor board was to allow patch switching while tracking... turns out the volume pedal is VERY handy and it's nice to be able to turn off effects at the flick of a switch (since I never track with the effects, unless I'm going for a specific sound).

The wah was a pleasant surprise - while it's not like my VOX wah, it is more than useable. And when I want my VOX sound, I simply use that instead!!

The volume pedal can't be bypassed, but that's not an issue since it's a midi control, and not actually a resistor in the signal source (and so won't affect tone). Simply keep the pedal depressed fully forward for the full 127 midi volume level.

It's a bit on the pricey side for what I get out of it, but hey - it serves my purposes! :)

Thanks Bruce,

Sounds like a winner, think I will get one. Never had a wah wah, and hey, no batteries!! Volume pedal sounds like it will also be of great use.
