Hi guys! I´m finally putting togheter my home studio, and i wanna upgrade with guitar rig... Right now, i´m using a Line6 Pod 2.0 and a Peavy Express 112. Nice units (especially for hard rock), but it´s hard to find a REALLY nice sound with it.
Here in town, there´s a little factory that makes this 50w with 4 12AX7 and 2 EL34, 2 channels (with footswitch) amps... seems a nice choice.
Hear some samples here:

If i sell the pod+the 112 i can get half of the price of the amp, so i have to put some money if i wanna buy it.
Tell me what you think, please, hear the samples and post your opinion about the sound of this amp.
Thanks!!!!

Sounds nice, but a lot of that tone is coming from the guitar and the guys fingers.

Unless you can go plug into it with your gear, I wouldn't buy based on an mp3

I scouted around on that website using Google's spanish-to-english translator. One one page it says that Cream has been making amplifiers "for several anuses". Based on that, I'd take a pass. :D

I know that´s hearing an mp3 would never be enough for buying an amp... but it can give you an idea of how it sounds...
I don´t have much experience with valve amps (but i can REALLY hear the difference between a solid state sound and a valve sound -overdriven sound, at least-)
so, i don´t know how much versatility i can expect...
Let me know what you think about the samples...
(and help me decide to sell or not my actual equipment)
Thanks guys!
btw, nkjanssen, the site states that they´re making amps (at least with this brand) since December of 2003. That´s a little time, but, hey, they sell amps with you guarantee and i like to suport local brands ;)

That tone is only there when the amp is LOUD. Can you play LOUD? If you can, then go for it if you like that sound. But, that will be your one sound. Most amps are not PODs.

i was playing thru a my recent used Marshall solid-state G100-CDR $99 i picked up and compared to my old Peavy Studio, and my GT2 Sans Amp.

I have a bedroom box studio, and for clean guitar the Sans Amp GT2 sounds better, or even equal and is soooo much easier to track.

The distortion is a bitch, and effects ..which i still haven't found this trick no matter what i do.

i just picked up a used POD for $100. alot of good reviews on this HR piece.

i know what it is, it ain't a warmed up tube amp, being mic'd with tube mics, thru tube compressors in Abbey Tube Studio. i'm not that delusional...i don't think? :p

each has their own sound....
