Plug-in to make voice sound like robot?

What's up?

I'm workin on a track right where I want to make it sound like a robot is talking in the intro. The type of robot sound I'm after is something like in this track, check it out at around 0:28...



It's not the best example but I couldn't think of any other tracks which has a robot voice...

Could you guys recommend any good plug-ins that I could use to get this kind of sound?

The classic way to do that is with a short delay that has a lot of feedback. It helps if you also talk in monotone like a robot.

I always thought that was a vocoder with a sawtooth wave.
 
Can't you just, like, buy a robot and teach it to speak? :laughings:

Sorry, I'm revisiting the "How do I get a megaphone effect?" thread of some weeks back... :drunk:
