did cake ever get it right with sonar 3? if not will they ever? the UAD 1 is a bitch without it as Im sure many of you know

PDC works great in S3 and yes it works with the UAD1. I have one and I hate hate hate manually compensating. So no worries...it works great!

does it have to be turned on somehow or is it automatic?

I dont think PDC works currently in S3 with VSTs but I believe it will be implemented in the near future upgrade to S3 and the Fxpansion wrapper.

I believe the upgraded wrapper is now available that adds PDC to VST as well as DX.

Which of the wrappers did Cakewalk take over? Was it the fxpansion adapter, or the DirectiXer by tonewise? I was using an old version of fxpansion, but I just purchased the DirectiXer. The most recent version has pdc for both vst and dx. Is the updated one from Cakewalk actually a version of the fxpansion design?
I'm just a bit confused. In any rate, I think I'm covered for now.

Thanks,
Kirstin
