The room I'm recording in now is pretty small for whats all in it. The last album I did didnt really sound the best it could and some of the problems where from the room so I've been thinking of ideas to help it out.
I'm thinking about getting / making a plexiglass shield maybe 4 3x7 foot sheets if I could find them and if I can afford them. Then get Some of that foam wall stuff that insulation for homes but is panels like dry-wall. Then buy a lot of foam like this That I could attach to the foam board then but the board on the plexiglass so that I can remove the foam when I use it for live use.
I would use it as a vocal room and place around the drumset to get some of the reverb from the room out of the recording. I do not want to put foam on the walls because I dont know if the spray glue would mess up the walls when I have to remove it.
Does it sound like a good idea that would work?
Thanks everybody
