I need a pair of monitors that would cost no more than USD$100 , please gimme your suggestions as i have no experience.

Some options i was looking at:

M-Audio Studiophile av30
Samson MediaOne a3
Tascam VL M3
Alesis M1 320USB
M-Audio StudioPro 3

Anything at the same price range...

I'm a fan of the M-audio stuff. It's very reliable for the price you pay for it. All of the speakers you listed there are very small. You are not going to get a very accurate full lows from small 3 inch woofers. Those seem more like glorified computer speakers than monitors to me.

I recommend you spend a bit more cash on some powered powered, and bi-amped monitors, like the M-audio BX5A, or the KRK Rokit 5 or 6. I have used BX5a's and they can get some pretty low frequencies accurately without distorting at all.

I would go with M-Audio or Alesis. Everyone Ive spoken with in the "industry" always recommends those two for monitors. I love my M-Audio BX8's. The sound is amazing. Although i dont know how the smaller speakers preform? But M-Audio is just a solid brand all around. Everything Ive used by them has been superb.

My suggestion is to save more money. Other than that I can't imagine any at that price being much better than Behringer MS16s. That's not to say that they are good, or even decent, monitors. Just that nothing is, at that price.
