what are some good DVDs to watch and learn from for a beginner/intermediate drummer? i like classic rock especially the beatles. also is there anything with tips on recording?

thanks

BONHAM...
TRY to learn Moby Dick. :)
What kind of recording do you want to do?

been watching Steve Smith - wow, Also have the Kenny Aranoff, but it's on VHS, I haven't seen it on DVD yet. But these aren't perfect for beginners, still looking too....

I like Thomas Lang... he's not that bad. You remember the old Dave Weckl instructional videos? The hair... lol!

Not That Bad?????? He is Insane!!! Its like he has a brain for each leg and arm! Have you seen the DVD? Thats just some of the stuff he can do. If you saw him at a clinic he is even BETTER!!!

I find thomas lang very repetitive, He is amazing but he does rely on the same ideas a lot, My favorite DVDs are the john blackwell, mike portnoy.

lang has played for boyzone or something and he isnt in a real band i dont think, just a session drummer. How can someone who has all that talent and put in all that work to be that good not want to write music or be a part of a band. wasted talent. :(
because of that i rate donate higher.

by the way im a guitarist not a drummer.
