AARRGGHHHH!!!!!

I am using Acid 3.0e and Sound Forge 5.0e.

My Direct X plug ins are failing to load! It started before I upgraded to version "e" on both programs. At least a month ago, I lost the use of DXwrapper lite, AIPL warm tone and spin cycle, and a Big Tic plug. I figured there was just some random problem and downloaded some of those again last night.

This evening, as I opened up an Acid project, it's telling me that now it's failing to load Sonic Foundry plug ins (track EQ, express chorus, and simple delay)!

What is going on? If anyone has had this problem and can help me out, I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks in advance,

marcus

Aaaaahhh

I used the "repair" feature on the uninstaller.

It appears that my life is now back to normal. Thanks Spin.
Incidentally, do you know what repairing does? It didn't take long at all for the process.

Thanks again,

marcus

I had a similar problem with Vegas Video 2.0 that the "repair" feature saved me from...

I'm not really sure how it works but I suspect some settings in a file must get garbled somehow and the "repair" thing reads the Windows registry database and rebuilds the settings file from the more permanent record in there...

Yup, it scans and replaces the screwed (Technical term) files. Glad to hear ya fixed it.
