I recently purchased a Zoom MRS-1608, its great worked for a while now when i start it up it just says Ver 1.07 and i looked in the book, nothing checked the connection,nothing even pushed every button on the thing....and i really want to start recording so plzx help

Take it to an electrician and get it diagnosed. It sounds like the wallwart or the on/off switch fried. Hopefully it's still under warranty.
