please help

hey yo wats up yall i have reason 2.5 running that off a midi keyboard i been writting song with it got some good but alot more bad any help ful hints on how to get music from my head to computer i can play piano and i have rythm i think jus having trouble writing the song dont know where to start how to make the sounds i hear im really looking for making beats like usher, justin timberlake, chris brown, mario, and rap style beats i thanx to every one that answers peace out
 
yo, welcome to the forum. what part of new orleans are you from fam? back to the topic, i think what you really need is an understanding of what sounds you have in your head and what category those sounds fit in. once you understand what category they fit in then it's a matter of going to the correct sound library or processor and pulling it up or something close to it and then tweak it to your liking. since you have some understanding of rhythem and keys you should be ok once you get a nice sound library going. you have reason and that's a powerfull piece of software, you can invest in refills or, what i just been put on to, soundfonts. once you have everything put into a neat folder full of other folders seperating your percussion from your strings, synths, guitars.... you should find it little more easier and pleasureable to make beats. sorry if i'm not clear or if my response really didn't help you out.

i think what you are looking for is a nice R&B kit, strings, keys, percussion, accoustic guitars.
