Will using a 1/4 inch mono cable from preamp to a stereo adapter into a sound card prevent sound or make sound very low when recording? I'm having trouble recording any sound through my setup and think this may be the only problem I can think of at this point. All line in settings up up max. Im using Adobe Audition and a Shure SM57 mic. sound blaster card. thanks
