Ok here goes. I'm not really new in homerecording per se. I've got a Firepod that works great. I use Cubase LE. I mainly record guitar, bass vocals and use Drums on Demand for demo and band idea purposes the Tiles . Anyway, I recently purchased the m-audio 49 midi controller. How do I get various keyboard sounds into my recordings from this? What is the proper way to get this done? Thanks in advance.

a midi controller dosnt have sounds in it.
its used to control virtual intruments.
its just a physical extention of software instruments.
you can buy and download synths and stuff to use off the internet,
or it can be used with an entire program like Reason for example.

After you download a few soft synths or vst sounds and control them through the midi controller, how would you get the sounds into your recrding program like Adobe Audition?

ive never used any vst's so i wouldnt be the one to ask.
im pretty sure some programs like cubase or any multitrack software will allow you to record the sounds right into the program though.

I do have acid 5.0 . And, I just downloaded the demo of reason 3.0. Maybe I will mess around with this tonight. Thanks though.
