I've have been recording, rapping, and making beats for about 6 months now. As you will hear, my music needs work. I keep my beats simple because i believe minamalist beats give the emcee a more powerful presence, if not musically, vocally and verbally. I also don't have anything mastered (obviously) and i don't have a nice setup so the production is lacking. I know some beats overpower the vocals which i am working on and some are too quiet. I don't have moniters and every system i have to listen to music on has crossovers which I assume is not good for monitering. Please give a newbie some help. Also, I would like some feedback on the music itself, not just the production, etc. Does it get your attention, would you listen to it if it was perfect, etc. Please don't be too harsh, I'm pretty new to this and when i hear my music compared to my favorite comercial albums, i can tell an obvious differece.
