Please check my 1st idea....

This is my first idea for the studio. Please excuse the primitive drawing.... you'll get the idea. You'll notice that I put aside 2-3 feet in the fron where I need a tiny bit of room for garage stuff. The neighbor to my right (facing) is about 10 feet away from the top right corner of this drawing. I don't know why it came out all distorted but the garage is 13' x 20'.

I don't proclaim to be an expert on this, but a couple of things jump out at me.

First, you appear to have good isolation between the live room and the control room, but almost no isolation between the vocal booth and the control room (also, how do you get into the vocal booth?).

Second, the rear wall of your control room depicts a diagonal wall on the left side with a right angle wall on the right side. I believe you want some closer symmetry from left to right.

I know I forgot some things like vocal booth doorway. But as far as the basic idea... does anyone see any big sonic dilemmas or does it look alright?
