Well right there is a point you should make in changing if you truly wish to produce and sell your music. Headphone mixing is ideal when you do not have another choice, but the demons come to bite you in the ass when relying on them.

The acoustic guitars are obviously direct line recorded and sound as thin as they typically do. The heavy guitars are lacking in depth. The bass guitar and drums do not hold up the bottom end at all.

The performance sounds quite good but the mix does not allow me to hear it comfortably.

Whether you are a teenage boy or a mature man makes no difference when it comes to recording and monitoring in a good environment. Even if you wouldn't have mentioned that you mixed with headphones, I would have already assumed that your monitoring situation is lacking. That or your ears are just toast... lol

Just so you know, I am not chopping at you. I am always willing to help in any way I can. Be sure that you are welcome to taking advice or don't ask.

Again, welcome Lugatt.

Feel free to give opinions on any one of us here. We like that! :)

Thank you very much for such detailed comments. May I bother with one more question. My friend has KRK Rockit 5. I can take them from him for a day or two. Question is should i do this or they will give no help?

Again thank you.

Again thank you.

I had a pair of Rockit 5's for a little while. Not a fan.

Though I will say that most any decent monitors will give you a much better representation of what is going on in your mix than headphones will. The reality is just that headphones are not a natural way to hear.

There is much discussion of why and how this is so.

I can only recommend that if you are serious about the quality of your productions, then spend some time learning about what you need yourself to make them all they can be. That can include gear, room setup/treatment, or just the way you go about recording.

I have learned a shit-ton from members of this site and wasted a bunch of time in the past. I am still learning now.

Drums are panned too wide for my taste, I tend to keep them closer to the center, just like if a drum kit was in front of you when you're listening, I find it distracting to hear a low tom suddenly come out of one side only.
Jimmy's already given you some good reasoning on using monitors and acoustic treatment. Borrowing monitors is fine, if you're borrowing them to try them out - you need time to learn the speakers themselves.

Sounds like an attempt to channel Jethro Tull.

I think the musical elements are all fine, but the mix is abrasive and unpleasant. It could do with a lot of cleaning up. I echo the comments above.

Nailed it!

I was thinking to myself what it reminded me of. JT was it.

Thanks everybody for critics and for feedback. I really appreciate it, and therefore I would like to bother you again. So far I have this (see attachment) and I think it would be more effective to show this (partial job) before adding other tracks. Maybe I am wrong with asking to check partial mix, I not sure.

Thank you in advance.

Yikes man!

Sorry. You need to invest in your room and monitors....

Another attempt. Still trying :)

So far here are only bass el guitar and drums without hh and cymbals. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have no final mix. I am working on it. I would like to ask people to check what I have now, as there is no sense to proceed with adding other tracks if this part is crap.

That's a bit like asking "Here are the wheels of the car I am building, what do you reckon?" Whether those wheels are any good or not depends on everything else. Posting a few of the tracks does not provide any context, and context is what will determine whether something is crap or not.

But if the wheels are bad? Can you build a car than?
