Playing guitar through monitors?

I play guitar over backing tracks and through the home recording system. The only speakers are the JBL home stereo speakers for monitors with 2 way w/10' woofer (Decade 26, maybe 25 years old)..

I have a effects rack I use with preamp for tube emulation.
I thought I would like to have the guitar out with its own speakers and got a clean guitar amp (tech 21 Power engine 60) but I didnt care at all for the tone and went back to JBLs combined with backing.

I would still like to get the guitar out on its own stereo speakers. Is there a good set of monitors that would do this. I guess my bench mark are the JBL Home stereo speakers I have now which I think sound really great with the guitar.

I suppose another option is to get montitors for the backing tracks and use the JBLs for the guitar.

Any thoughts or experience related to this? I would appreciate any inputs and especially recommendations for monitors to play guitar through real time.

Thanks!
