Playback via Audiophile 2496 and SB Live...

Currently my setup looks like this

Mic's -> Mixer -> Audiophile 2496 -> Speakers
SB Live -> Headphones

Now after i've recorded a short clip via mic->mixer and play it back via the audiophile, you can barely hear the noise. But when i listen to the clip via SB Live through headphones, the noise is very loud. Why is that so?

Are you using powered speakers for the Audiophile? Are you sure you're using the Analog outs and not the digital out on the Audiophile? What cables are you using to plug speakers into the Audiophie? We need details!
