Playback problem on my car cd player

I have created CD/R's using NERO as the burner on my PC. They will play in my car CD Player. My problem is that after a period of playing, I begin to get bad static and eratic playing. After a while I can put the CD back in and it will play fine. Is this a problem with the CD or the player. The player is in a 1999 Honda CRV. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Luther

Yep, it's the player. Some of the older players don't do CD/R very well.

I'd say it's the CD player. If you have a cassette tape player try one that is powered from the cig lighter. I had similar problems with a Magnavox JogProof (yeah right!) but none with a Sony Walkman.
