Piezo electric mics...

hi,

Does someone know a way to setup piezos for a drum set. Location, type of pickup, powerd or not. I have smal 2'' by .5'' pickups whith bare contacts soldered to an input jack.

I took the elements out of the cases, soldered a jack to them, and just stuck them to the drum head out of the way with some gaffers tape. I don't think there is an exact science to it, just put them where they feel the vibrations, and where you don't hit them!
