Phantom through soundcard input

One small question:

What will happen if I use my preamp (TL Audio Ivory 2) as an insert through my sound card (Delta 1010), and accidentally turn the phantom power on? I use TRS-XLR from the outputs of my sound card to the mic inputs on my preamp. Will this blow up my computer, sound card and/or speakers and/or nothing happens? I'm guessing that feeding inputs on the Delta 1010 with 48V can't be good.

Will anyone try this out for me?

Feeding the Line Outputs from your Delta into the Mic Input on your Ivory isn't a great idea, having nothing to do with Phantom Power, because the output level from the Delta is much greater than the Mic Input level.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do. Can you explain your signal path in greater detail?

Delta 1010 output -> Ivory 2 mic input
Ivory 2 output -> Delta 1010 input

I'm not even sure what I'm trying to do. Like what would happen in theory. I was thinking about maybe trying it out in mixing.

The preamp has a 30 dB pad, that's not sufficient for line levels?

Power is only present on the XLR. No power in the line level end which would be the inserts, line ins and outs, etc.
