i am considering buying an audio technica 3035 condensor mic but i am wondering if it is compatible with my equipment - i'm kind of new at recording...

the at 3035 mic requires phantom power "11 - 52V 3 mA typical"...my equipment says it provides "+48V phantom power, SW" - are these compatible?

thanks

really? so i don't need +52 V of phantom power?
Phantom power is specified as 48VDC ±4V, which means a DC voltage anywhere from 44V to 52V.
