a friend of mine asked me if i can do something not smooth & laid back
he suggested a 4 to the floor type song a 80s retro disco type style
not wanting to be a one trick pony I have tried this style

I like that an awful more than the You'll see version from Joe Mann - that's horrible - I can listen to this. Not sure it's quite 80s though in feel? More 90s onwards?

Yeah when I think of 80's disco it's more sequenced riffs that comes to mind, bit more distortion, thicker bass n drums.
