people leaving comments?

when changing my profile signature, I noticed a list of comments left by people. Is there anyway to tell WHO left these comments.Is it fairly common to have a bunch of tools leave a bunch of arrogant messages, dreaming of the day when they will have balls to run their mouths to someone in real life, instead of hiding behind an avatar?

Heres an idea, and this goes to EVERYONE that finds the urge to be a jackass on here. If you don't have anything useful to add to a post, then shut the f**k up. Tuck your c**k and b**ls back between your legs and scurry away like the ugly woman you long to be. Anyone with the kind of poor manners and 10 year-old mentality that you exhibit does not belong on this site.

Posting this may make me a bad guy in everyones eyes, OR it may make you all cheer for saying what you would all love to say.

Thanks to all of the people who actually make this site worthwhile, who take their craft seriously, and take others seriously.

I once got a few rep points deducted in a "modeller vs amp" thread just for expressing the opinion that guitar modellers have thier niche and can still probably be usefull to even some pro players as at least a fun thing to tinker with. Seemed like a rather harmless opinion in a thread that was encouraging such variety of opinions on the subject, yet I still got slammed for it from obviously a few strictly hardcore tube amp purists who disagreed. Its not like I was propegating any misinformation or flaming anyone else in that "opinion" that I took the time to thoughtfully write.

Its like this...... Like any other forum out there, this board is going to have its small percentage of trolls and jerk offs who take more pleasure in discrediting or slamming others than in the exchange of any real useful information. Or maybe some will have occasional good info but thier small penis ego's still wont be able to keep themselves from trashing others. Either way you cut it, it's thier problem not yours and just comes with the territory.

Ask yourself one question: Are you here to learn from and exchange knowlage and info with others who also value and respect that same opprotunity to do so or are you here just for warm fuzzy community approval and rep points? If its to truely learn something then those negative comments should mean nothing to you as absurd as they may be.

haha... I just checked my signature in the control panel, and sure enough, there are a couple comments... one from Ford Van about something I said in a thread posting... he is such a nice guy.

But yea, its a forum, ya gotta take everythng with a grain of salt... of course, I know when my opinion or suggestion gets belittled in a harsh manner, I do get offended on occasion... oh well - guess I gotta learn to follow my own advice

btw, i rarely ever give reds, but when i do, i have the balls to sign them. you've learned about it and i hope you become a negative-signer too! i hate it when you get the unsigned, and you are just dying to know who they are from.

Yeah, mine have no signature. Just a random comment. Most of which don't even have anything to do with a post. Don't get me wrong, I have a fairly thick skin and understand there is always going to be idiots. However, it sure does feel good to vent every once in a while. Its always nice to let other people vent also through this thread.

I don't care about good or bad reps, I just take it as a cowards way of talking smack. Its irritating. Its like prank calls..they piss me off too. Whenever someone does something while hiding from you is aggrivating. Oh well...life goes on.
